    Melt in your mouth BBQ Veggies were great. Even the devil eggs were good.Don't judge a book by its cover. Stop in - you won't be sorry. Prices are good.   The owner is very friendly.

    We got a little bit everything ribs,pork, brisket, jalapeño sausage, beans, coleslaw, potato salad.
    Everything was on point with Taste just could have been hotter like the warmness of the food.
    Now let's talk about their barbecue sauce it was nice and warm and full of flavor it was really good.
    The staff was really nice and courteous was greeted as soon as we entered.

    The road this place is off of is not easy to find.

    Well, we FINALLY made it here. All of the BBQ is good, BUT the brisket is, without a doubt, the best that I have ever eaten! When you pull up to the building, your first thought is.......Are you kidding me!! But you will miss some of the best BBQ you will ever taste if you don't go in. The owner and his wife are very friendly and will make you feel right at home! My only problem was that I filled up on the BBQ and didn't have room to try the homemade pies!

    Hands down my favorite BBQ joint in Marshall. I think Bodacious comes at a close second (because Bodacious's ribs are really stinking amazing), but the brisket here is incredibly moist and tender. You can ask for lean brisket as well if you prefer the leaner cuts!

    The sides here are fantastic. The beans are cooked with pork and have a really delicious smoky flavor. I also really enjoyed the cole slaw but honestly, all of the sides are good (my friends like the potato salad). Definitely going to become a regular lunch spot.

    I think it's important to note that Best of Texas is only open on Thursdays-Saturdays, so make sure you don't show up on a closed day!

    Doni is a great guy. First time there just drove by on I20 and looking for a place to eat. Very nice friendly family and give me all various choice. BBQ sauce is unbelievable and Doni even offer me a FREE bottle. Brisket is incredibly good, haven't had a good bbq for a long time!
